Early Commitment to the Law
Daniela Alejandra Cabrera Hurt earned her Juris Doctor from American University Washington College of Law in December 2025 after accelerating her studies through year-round dedication and coursework. Demonstrating an early commitment to the legal profession, she sat for and passed the February 2026 Florida Bar Examination on her first attempt — ahead of her graduating cohort.
Experience Inside Florida’s Courts
Before joining Silva & Silva, Ms. Cabrera Hurt gained firsthand experience within Florida’s judicial system and prosecutorial offices. She served as a judicial intern to a judge of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida, where she worked extensively on civil motion practice and observed the judicial decision-making process from inside the courtroom.
She later interned with the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office, assisting a supervising Assistant State Attorney with daily court proceedings and case preparation.
